CPM national leader Brinda Karat has alleged that the Centre has done gross injustice to the women in its 2017-18 annual budget introduced recently.
Addressing a gathering at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram here on Wednesday on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Brinda Karat lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that his policies were totally against the empowerment of women. She asked the Prime Minister, who demonetized big currency notes, to explain why he was not banning liquor. She also made it clear that the people in the country never consider the RSS activists as nationalists.
Adverting to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Brinda Karat said the condition of the State was deteriorating day after the day. She also criticized KCR for offering golden gifts to Gods. She called upon the women to remain united to achieve rights of the women. (NSS)
