Mr. Hasanuddin Ahmed, IAS (Rtd.) former Chairman of A.P. Minorities Commission, Mr. Mohammed Shafeequz Zaman, IAS (Rtd) former Special Chief Secretary, Major Syed Ghouse Mohiuddin Quadri, President “Help Hyderabad”, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Gyasuddin Akbar in a joint statement issued yesterday told that the actual contest in 2014 elections is between BJP and Secular Parties. Despite this fact, Muslims would never support BJP. BJP is making an attempt to create reasonable or unreasonable doubts among the Muslims about secular parties to divide their votes and this task is being taken by the Muslims only. A large section of media is also making an attempt to mould the minds of the Muslims and it is giving an impression that “The Muslims are gradually accepting Narendra Modi” which is totally false and is based on ill intentions. In the present day context, whether it is Congress, Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal or any other political party are fighting with communal parties. In such a situation opposing such parties is not only inappropriate but it is mischievous. In this scenario, the political thought of Muslims of Hyderabad can greatly influence the opinions of the Muslims of the entire country because media will present this view in such a way that it benefits BJP. It is the need of the hour that people should be given the right message that Narendra Modi is not acceptable to the Muslims of India in any situation and the other political parties are like smaller evils which are better than the greater evil.
