Keeping the second phase of general elections in view, BJP and TDP combine has intensified its attack on YSR Congress Party in the Seemandhra region.
The BJP and TDP combine befriended Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan to take on the mighty YSRCP chief and Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who is eying Chief Minister post in the Seemandhra. BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan are firing salvos against Jagan during their public meetings held as part of second phase of elections to be held in 13 Seemandhra districts.
Modi, Naidu and Pawan are sharing dais to target the rival parties such as TRS, Congress, YSRCP in both the regions. Pawan was trying to attract the youth by often shouting “Congress Hatao, Desh Bachao” in both the regions, “Jagan Hatao” in Seemandhra region. He sought to know as to why Jagan was so keen on becoming chief minister of Seemandhra post bifurcation. He alleged that the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre vertically divided Telugu People for political gains. He also alleged that just to become Chief Ministers of Telangana and Seemandhra States, KCR and Jaganmohan Reddy helped the Centre to divide the State. “But I will not relent in my fight to take on their might if they indulge in misleading the people,” Pawan roared.
While Modi expressed concern that Jagan, if elected to power, will only indulge in further looting and transform Seemandhra into Scam Andhra, the TDP chief said he will be next Chief Minister if people voted for his party for people’s welfare and development of the State on par with Hyderabad which is a IT hub and most sought after destination. Naidu asked the people of Seemandhra region to justify themselves if they want a senior leader like him, who is known for developing the State on par with international standards by making Hyderabad an IT hub besides providing lakhs of jobs to youth. “If you vote the YSRCP to power, you will only be victimized by Jagan’s misrule, Naidu warned.
Naidu appealed to the people to vote for the TDP and BJP combine for overall development of the AP State and country. He said Jagan was misleading the people to become Chief Minister by the hook or crook in order to continue his looting spree and bleed the country. On the other hand, the TDP and BJP combine roped in Pawan to target TRS chief KCR in Telangana and YSRCP in Seemandhra and Congress in both the regions.
Interestingly, the BJP and TDP topbrass roped in Pawan Kalyan to target the Congress with which Chiranjeevi is associating. Pawan is not only targeting Jagan and appealing to the people to refrain from voting in favor of the YSRCP in the general elections. Jagan, who has dubious distinction of ‘looting’ public money in thousands of crores, is not at all eligible for becoming Chief Minister, Pawan said during a TDP-BJP Public Meeting in West Godavari.
