Modi has nothing to do with BJP: Sibal

Union Minister Kapil Sibal on Thursday hit out at Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for making tall claims about Gujarat’s model of development.

Addressing a press conference, Sibal said that Modi keeps on praising himself and gives an impression that no other chief minister in the county has done any work. “He always tries to give an impression that he is the best leader in the country,” Sibal said.

“In the past six months Modi has never mentioned any BJP leader whether it’s LK Advani or Sushma Swaraj in his speeches. It seems he has nothing to do with BJP,” the Congress leader said.

“BJP should consider changing its mind on Modi,” Sibal exhorted.
