Modi govt waived off huge loans of industrialists, but not of self-help groups: Rahul Gandhi

Hyderabad: AICC chief Rahul Gandhi has alleged that the BJP government at the Centre waived off Rs 2.5 crore lakh loans of industrialists, but the same government was not waiving off the loans of the self-help groups (SHGs). On returning to power, the Congress will waive off the same, he assured. Rahul Gandhi also alleged that the TRS government was not giving loans to the poor and women. Unfortunately, both the TRS and BJP governments were not making the banks to give loans to poor, he added. Rahul Gandhi started his two-day tour of the State today. On arrival from Delhi, he interacted with self-help group ( SHG) women at Shamshabad.
