Imphal: Manipur Governor and former Minister for Minority Affairs in Modi government, Najma Heptulla on Saturday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “global leader”. It must be noted that Modi has just concluded a day-long visit to Palestine. She said the current visit of Narendra Modi is historic for the establishment of peace between Palestine and Israel.
Najma said she was personally involved with the issue for about 40 years and on the basis of her experience and belief she could say that there was no other leader except Narendra Modi on whom both the countries had faith in.
Najma said “Modi is the only leader whose words are accepted by both Palestine and Israel. This is because of the fact that both countries repose trust in him. Modi is the only global leader whose efforts to resolve the Palestine issue are accepted by both the countries.”
Saying that the issue is very complex one, she hoped that the Prime Minister would be able to resolve the issue quickly.
