Modi to flag-off Vadodara Marathon

Vadodara, November 16: More than 30,000 participants will take part in the 21-km Vadodara Marathon, which would be flagged off by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here on Sunday.

Union Sports Minister M S Gill will also be present on the occasion and give away prizes to the winners, organisers said.

Besides, former India cricket captain Kapil Dev, actor Jitendra are among the prominent personalities to be present at event, which is being organised for the first time in the city, Director of Vadodara Marathon Company (VMC) Tejal Amin told PTI.

As many as 25 NGOs have come forward to form the VMC, he said.
