Mumbai, June 15: Suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi will demand the recusal of BCCI president Shashank Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan from any disciplinary proceedings against him when he submits his reply to the third showcause notice served on him by the cricket board.
Modi’s legal counsel Mehmood Abdi said the embattled cricket administrator would e-mail his reply today while he himself will handover the hard copy of the same tomorrow.
“In reply to the third show cause notice Mr Modi is going to reiterate his demand for recusal of both Honorary BCCI secretary N Srivasan and BCCI president Shashank Manohar,” Abdi told PTI here.
The notice had accused Modi of irregularities in the awarding of theatrical rights during the third IPL season.
