Modi blaming Rajiv for fear of defeat in LS polls

Hyderabad: Senior Congress Leader Mallu Ravi on Thursday said his party would form the next government at the Centre. He claimed that all poll surveys conducted in the country were revealing that Congress would sweep the Lok Sabha elections in the country.

Speaking to mediapersons, Ravi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to blame former PM late Rajiv Gandhi as he was scared of facing a humiliating defeat in the ongoing elections. He said the Supreme Court too gave a clean chit to late Rajiv Gandhi in the Bofors case. He said Rajiv was pioneer of IT revolution in the country and also implemented a comprehensive action plan for taking the country into the 21st century. He also said late Rajiv Gandhi had introduced political reforms in the country too.
