BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address a public meeting here on April 22 as part of campaign in Telangana.
This was stated today by former Union Minister and BJP leader Vidyasagar Rao, who is the party candidate from Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency, at a press meet here.
Though the press meet was jointly organised by BJP and its partner Telugu Desam Party, the alliance’s leaders were not forthcoming on whether TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu would accompany Modi during his visit to Karimnagar.
Telangana, which will attain statehood on June 2, will have simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly polls on April 30.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed an election meeting in Karimnagar two days ago.
