Congress senior leader and Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad said Narendra Modi’s slogan ‘Make in India’ has become ‘Fake in India’ as one year performance of central government was disappointing.
Stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s letter to the people was full of falsehood. He asserted that Prime Minister failed to fulfill the assurances made during the elections as the petrol prices were not reduced even as prices of petrol declined internationally and prices of essential commodities were sky rocketing. The increase in Railway charges also burdened the people heavily, he alleged.
It was promised to give 2 cr jobs to youth but even 2000 jobs were not given. The promise to bring back black money and deposit Rs. 15 to 20 lakh in each citizen’s bank account also proved a sham.
