Jaipur: Light to moderate rains at isolated places in Rajasthan brought the mercury down where Kota was the hottest place recording a maximum day temperature of 39.4 degrees Celsius.
Jaisalmer and Churu recorded 39 degrees Celsius while Jaipur, Barmer, Jodhpur, Ajmer and Pilani registered maximum of 38.4, 38, 37.8, 37.6 and 37.5 degrees respectively, according to Met department here.
Light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places in the state during the last 24 hours.
Phalodi (Jodhpur) recorded 3 cm while Bikaner and Nokh (Jaisalmer) recorded 1 cm rains till morning today since yesterday.
The department has forecast thunderstorm at isolated pockets in the state during next 24 hours.
