Shillong, October 29:A moderate intensity earthquake tonight jolted Shillong, Guwahati and other parts of North East, MeT officials said here.
The magnitude of the quake was recorded 5.2 in the Richter scale and its epicentre was in Bhutan, they said.
The residents of Shillong and other places felt the tremors at around 10.31 pm, the officials said, adding that there was no report of any loss of life or property in the quake.
