Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao today said that they will soon launch a Mobile Hub in Telangana state. He unveiled a new Make in Telangana Tablet PC from Celkon company at a program here.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Tablet PC is first of its kind from Telangana and credit goes to the noted Celkon Company. He also said that the Celkon Company set a record by producing 10 lakhs of phones in short span of time. The IT Minister appreciated the company officials for setting up a new mobile research unit in Hyderabad. Noted Cell phone companies like Micromax and Celkon set up their manufacturing plants here, he said. The government will encourage such companies with all facilities and support, the IT Minister said. He also predicted that the city will soon witness a surge in real estate and construction activity. The Government, he said, is doing its best to see that Hyderabad becomes an international destination and a global city with all facilities, infrastructure and standards.(NSS)
