An 18-year-old student committed suicide after he was allegedly rebuked by his parents for chatting on mobile in his college.
According to Miyapur police, the deceased, E Shekhar, second year student of Narayana Junior College, committed the suicide by hanging on Thursday night. Shekhar’s parents were reportedly summoned by the Assistant Principal of college to complain that he was chatting on mobile during college hours. Police suspect that Shekhar was upset over the development and might have resorted to the extreme step at his residence in Miyapur. However, further investigations are on to ascertain the reasons behind suicide. (INN)
