A student sustained burn injuries after his mobile phone battery exploded.
15-year-old Abhijeet is the resident of Torrur village in Hayathnagar and is an Intermediate student of Navodaya College. The incident occurred on Wednesday when Abhijeet was trying to recharge the mobile phone by way of a separate recharger. The battery was said to be China-made.
Abhijeet who suffered burns on his right hand, face and stomach, was rushed to the hospital. His condition is said to be stable.
