New Delhi :Mobile wallet firm MobiKwik today announced a tie-up with Delhi Jal Board (DJB) that will enable people in Delhi to pay water bills through their mobiles.
“It is our proven credentials as a user-friendly mobile wallet based on a robust technology platform that made Delhi Jal Board choose us as a partner in its digital journey,” MobiKwik Founder CEO Bipin Preet Singh said in a statement.
Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will officially launch the Delhi Jal Board mobile application tomorrow after which this service will be operational, the statement said.
With the aim to promote mobile payments, MobiKwik will soon launch an initial cashback offer to encourage Delhi residents to pay their water bill using the DJB app.
MobiKwik is has 25 million users and 50,000 retailers connected to it, the statement said.
