Srinagar: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday assured to the Members of Legislative Council (MLCs) will be given all facilities like new vehicles, security and accommodations, but it would take some time.
She also assured the MLCs that they would be taken on board while chalking out plan for their respective constituencies.
“The agenda of the PDP-BJP alliance is a big challenge for us. Normalcy has returned on the Line of Control (LoC) and separatists leaders are silent. Besides, we exchanged buss that run between Kashmir and Pakistan recently,” she said.
She said Kashmiri Pandits would be accommodate in transit camps and would be given all facilities as it was not possible to accommodate them in their native places. “Sanik colonies were built in Jammu by the National Conference and the same proposal was mooted for Kashmir, but the state government replied that no land was available in state for Sanik colonies,” she added.
The government has started buses especially for women and exclusive women police station for their safety, she added. (ANI)
