Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s supporter MLC S V Mohan Reddy, who denied indulging in anti-party activities on Tuesday, tendered his resignation to the Congress party and MLC post on Wednesday. He reportedly sent his resignation letter to PCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana.
It may be mentioned here that Mohan Reddy has been a staunch supporter of YSRCP Chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and was moving closely with the latter. The CLP lodged a complaint against Mohan Reddy to Council Chairman Dr A Chakrapani a few months ago stating that Mohan Reddy was indulging in anti-Congress activities.
Responding to a notice served on him by the Council Chairman, Mohan Reddy appeared before the chairman on Tuesday and submitted his explanation and sought time too. But, suddenly, he tendered his resignation on Wednesday morning and announced that he would sail with late YSR’s family till his last breath. He also alleged that the TDP and Congress were colluded to cause harm to Jagan. (NSS)
