NRI Anthul Wassey today warned that she would stage dharna in front of the Pragathi Bhavan along with her relatives in case the TRS government failed to remove MLC Farooq Hussain from his position and make him to tender public apologies besides vacating her flat. She also demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao make Farooq to pay total rent amount and vacate the flat at the earliest.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Wassey said Farooq Hussain was not vacating her flat for the last two years though she was asking him to do so. She said Farooq Hussain was also not paying rent for the last six months and alleged that Farooq tried to attack her with a sandal using filthy language when she went to the flat to collect the rent amount. She said though she lodged a complaint with the police against the MLC, there was no response from the police and the State government. She warned that she will stage dharna in front of Pragathi Bhavan in case Farooq failed to vacate her flat by next Monday.
Congress woman leader Uzma Shakir, Harinder Kumar and her relatives Meer Iqbal Ali Khan, Mahmad Sayyed, Mahmad Muzda Ali were also present. (NSS)
