MLAs joining TRS for getting works done: Komatiredy

Nalgonda Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has said some MLAs from various political parties were joining the TRS only to get developmental works sanctioned by the government. He said 100 leaders would emerge if one leader leaves the Congress.

Speaking to the media after meeting Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Saturday along with his brother and former MP Rajagopal Reddy, Venkat Reddy said the Udaya Samudram Lift Irrigation project would be completed first. He said announcement of new projects was good but before taking up new projects, the government should complete the old projects.

Venkat Reddy opined that the people had voted the TRS party to power only because it was a movement party. He exuded confidence that the Congress will win next elections and form the government in Telangana State. (NSS)
