Hyderabad, June 28: Praja Rajyam MLA from Peddapuram in East Godavari district Pantham Gandhi Mohan on Monday lodged a written complaint with Speaker Nadendla Monohar over the violation of protocol by Telugu Desam Party MLC B Bhaskar Ramana in his constituency.
According to sources, the MLA has planned to inaugurate a school constructed with a cost of Rs 31.31 lakh at Vetlapalem in East Godavari district on June 23 at 9.30 AM.
As per the announced schedule, the officials installed a plaque with the name of MLA and MLC. However, Telugu Desam Party MLC B Bhaskar Ramana inaugurated the school building one hour earlier, on the same day, violating the protocol.
In his petition, Mr Gandhi Mohan sought disciplinary action against the MLC for violating protocol and inaugurating the school building one hour early. He also said that the MLC had got another plaque installed besides the original one.
The Speaker assured Gandhi Mohan of by inquiring into the incident with Mr Bhaskar Ramana.
