Mixed trend in metals

Mumbai, March 01:Select metals in ferrous and non ferrouscategories ended on a mixed note on the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) today.

In ferrous metals, Copper utensils and Aluminium utensils both went up by Rs 300 per quintal. Brass Utensils too reported a rise of Rs 100 per quintal. Copper Heavy though dropped by Rs 100 per quintal, traders said.

In non-ferrous metals, Tin slabs and Nickel cathode went up marginally by Rs ten per kg and Rs 15 per kg, traders said. Copper wire bars slipped by Rs 100 per quintal. Aluminium ingots , Zinc slabs and Lead ingots remained flat.

Ferrous metals:

Non-ferrous metals:

Lead ingots Rs 11,900
Tin slabs Rs 1,670 (per kg)
