NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Modi is likely to address the nation on New Year on December 31 at 7.30 pm, sources said on Thursday.
After November 8 bombshell of demonetisation of the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, people are a little more caution about PM’s addressed.
“Mitron,PM Modi to address the nation on New Year’s eve. Run for cover..Lets see what the Jumla Richter scale records this time around.”
“For all we know, @narendramodi could just say, “Mitron, is 31st December se, 31st December legal New Year nahi manaya jaega.” #Modi.” Another wrote, “Modi’s Speech on 31st December at 7:30: Hata saavan ki ghata.. Aao mitro lets Partyyyyyyy!”
They took to twitter to express their view. Let’s have a look at these reactions.

After Arnab Goswami left Times Now, Narendra Modi has been left with monopoly on addressing the nation, and he is making best use of that.

The Prime Minister may speak again on demonetisation, as the 50-day time period sought by him to ease out the situation gets over on December 30.
Modi, after announcing the decision on demonetisation, had said “…help me for 50 days and I will give you the India you desired”.
In his national radio address Mann ki Baat on December 25, the Prime Minister spoke extensively on demonetisation and encouraged “cashless transactions”.
