Misty Upham’s father, Charles Upham believes that his daughter might have died while trying to hide from the police. Charles said in a statement on Facebook that the 32-year-old actress didn’t commit suicide and they believe that she must have felled into the woods behind her apartment, and accidentally slipped fell off of the steep embankment, People magazine reported. The body of the ‘Frozen River’ star, who had been missing since October 6, was discovered at the bottom of a 150-ft. embankment in Auburn, Washington. Charles said that Upham, who suffered from suffered from mental illness, was afraid of the police since she had been mistreated by the law in the past where they had transported her involuntarily to the ER. However, Auburn Police Commander Steve Stocker had said on the ill-treatment claims that he had never met or spoken to the star, who now even has a memorial fund in her honor, and had said during the disappearance that they were doing everything they could.
