Mission Successful: Greetings pouring in for ISRO

Congratulating the ISRO team for successfully going through with the orbit insertion manouvre of the ‘Mangalyaan’, Dr. Arvind Paranjpye Director Nehru Planetarium Mumbai told that ISRO was successful in Mars mission in the very first attempt while it is a significant milestone for India. Talking to Siasat from Mumbai Dr. Arvind Paranjpye recalled that he had become emotional when Neil Armstrong had set his foot on moon and then he changed line to astrophysics. Now as ISRO succeeded in Mars Mission many students will opt for Science as their career.

Dr. B G Sidharth director B M Birla Science Centre Hyderabad told media persons that Mars Mission has completed the journey of 700 million kilometres. He congratulated ISRO team and said that India achieved success in it first attempt while, American, European, Russian flying agencies failed in doing so. He declared ‘Mangalyaan’ achievement as the remarkable success of Indian scientists which has made Indians proud.
