‘Mission Chabutra’ to resume again

‘Mission Chabutra’ operation run by the city police before Ramadan will resume soon. This time police is likely to take strict stand. South Zone police had taken hundreds of youth into custody before Ramadan and done counseling with their parents. Their parents had agreed that they would not allow their children to come out of their houses in the night hours.

The operation gained support from various corners while some declared the action as uncalled for and violation of civil rights. Police argued that sitting on chabutra till late night and indulging in gossiping may land children’s future in danger. After much contemplation the police department has decided to resume the operation. According to reliable sources mission Chabutra will resume from July 23.
