Lucknow, April 04:An undergraduate student of Lucknow University, who went missing, was found dead on a railway track in Madiaon area, police said here.
The mutilated body of Gyanendra Kumar Verma (18), whowent missing on April 1, was recovered from the railway track near Mohibullahpur railway station yesterday, they said.
Police suspect that the youth, resident of Lakhimpur district, allegedly committed suicide as he was unable to do well in his examinations and was under depression.
In another incident, a 48-year-old man allegedly committed suicide due to poor financial condition in Mohanlalganj area, they said.
Gokaram Prasad hanged himself from a tree in Uttar village yesterday, they said.
