Hyderabad, April 07: An SAP-trainee who went missing a few days ago is found to have been murdered. His alleged affair with a friend’s wife is suspected to be the cause for the killing.
Neredmet police told Expresso that the victim, T Madhukumar (27), had been missing since March 31. “Madhukumar was pursuing SAP course in Ameerpet after completing his MCA. A missing case was registered earlier based on a complaint given by Madhukumar’s father,” Neredmet Inspector K Venkat Reddy said. Following a tip-off, police took into custody one Sandeep who revealed the murder during interrogation.
According to Sandeep, his friends Vishnu, Rajesh and a few others hatched a plan to kill Madhukumar. Vishnu first called him to ECIL where Sandeep and others joined them. They went near the Jawaharnagar dumping yard and started consuming liquor.
After sometime, Vishnu and others picked up an argument with Madhukumar and hit him with a beer bottle and a boulder resulting in his death.
They then took the body into the dump yard and set it ablaze.
Rajesh suspected that Madhukumar had been having an affair with his wife. “He informed the matter to Sandeep and other friends and they all decided to kill Madhukumar,” police said. The other accused are absconding.
