Missing Princess Latifa is at home, Gov.releases pictures

Abu Dhabi– The United Arab Emirates has released pictures of Sheikha Latifa missing princess and daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum along with Mary Robinson, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

According to friends and supporters, the missing princess was forcibly returned to Dubai only after fleeing for months. The picture recently released by the government shows the princess and Mary Robinson smiling in what appears to be home.

The government’s statement was published by the state-run WAM news agency who reported on Monday that the princess is “at home and living with her family in Dubai,” per the AP.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktou is Dubai’s ruler UAE’s prime minister and vice president.

The pictures were released months after friends and supporters said she disappeared when commandos stormed her boat while she was trying to escape from Emirates.

Earlier, Sheikha Latifa had appeared in a 40-minute video in which she said she was imprisoned off and on for several years and abused.
