The carelessness of Hajj House maintenance staff was exposed on Friday when power disrupted soon after the beginning of Friday prayers. As the loud speaker system became dysfunctional prayer of namazis offering prayer on 1st and 2nd floor remained incomplete.
It is said that the responsibility of maintenance of Hajj House lies with Waqf Board. A big generator was installed to overcome frequent power failure problem. The generator is connected with higher officials’ chambers and lifts. Sadly the masjid is deprived of generation connection. Even the loud speaker is not connected with the generation.
