New Delhi: Waqf Mafia continues to eye on Waqf land of Dargah Shah-e-Mardan. Waqf mafia is trying to occupy the vacant land of Imam Bargah Zainabia attached to Dargah Shah-e-Mardan and Baradari Azzakhana.
Failed to get the land through other means, now the Waqf mafia has created a new idea to occupy the land and tried to do Pooja on the land. Dargah trustee Anjuman Hyderi lodged a complaint with the court in this connection. Taking tough stand the court asked the police to protect the land and see that no untoward incident should occur.
However last Saturday once again a mob of 15 to 20 people including women conducted Pooja near the peepal tree located on Imam Bargah Zainabia land. Surprisingly police cops present there didn’t take action at the early stage but when the caretakers of Anjuman Hyderi staying in Dargah Shah Meeran opposed it, then police cops suddenly became active and started stopping them who are the caretakers of the land but did not stop women forcefully entering the premises and doing puja.
