Miscreants tried to burn four youths in Shad Nagar

(Siasat News) The activists of Hindu Vahini are trying to stop the transportation of big animals into the city of Hyderabad by disrupting the lorries in and around the city. In Sardarnagar village of Shadnagar Mandal, miscreants caught hold of four Muslim youths. They tied them to a tree. They sprinkled kerosene on them to set ablaze. Police and the local Muslim leaders rushed to the spot and saved them. When the Muslims bought the big animals, they were trying to shift them into a vehicle. At that time, some communal persons reached there and told the Muslim youths that their animals have been stolen and they have come here to search for them. Under this pretext, they picked up quarrels with the Muslim youths, they attacked Mohammed Hussain, Mohammed Saleem, Mohammed Samee Ghouri and Mohammed Fazil with weapons with an intention to kill them. All the four youths got injured. After this, they tied them to a tree and assaulted them brutally. They poured kerosene on them and were trying to burn them. Suddenly, the local Muslim leaders approached the spot. On seeing them, the miscreants fled away. Police didn’t bother to chase to arrest them. These miscreants damaged the cars of the Muslim youths and they tore off the receipts of the purchases of these animals. A compliant has been lodged in Shadnagar police station.

The activists of Hindu Vahini and other communal organizations are trying to target the Muslims. Police is also supporting them. They are doing this in the name of implementation of Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act. No one denies this act but the way it is being implemented is objectionable. It seems that the communal minded people have taken law into their hands. They are giving an impression that they are the only protectors of this law.

Muslims don’t deny to implement this Law. The question is, whether this law is only for the Muslims? Is it not applicable to the Hindus who are selling their cows? They are desecrating and humiliating their religion by selling the cows. When Supreme Court has imposed a ban on Cow slaughter, action should be taken on those who sell cows. If a person who buys cows is a culprit, then those who sell them are also criminals. When cows are not available for sale, the question of buying them doesn’t arise. Govt. should take serious note of it and take stern action against the police officers also who are playing in the hands of the miscreants who are making various attempts to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city.

Mr. Anurag Sharma, City Police Commissioner and Addl. Commissioner of Police coordination Mr. Ameet Garga visited the spot and issued instructions to arrest the miscreants immediately.
