It seems that communal elements have already made complete preparation for communal riots in the city. They tried to organize Aarthi Pooja yesterday at Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar on a large scale which police foiled.
Police permitted pedestrians to offer pooja at the said temple upto 6 pm. Yesterday but many devotees assembled at the temple in the evening. Police asked them to go back but they started shouting “Jai Shree Ram”. A police officer immediately sent a message on wireless set to target all those who are shouting this slogan. Police resorted to lathi charge and dispersed the mob which had assembled near Gulzar Hosue within few minutes. Irritated by police attitude, the violent mob started pelting stones on the shops belonging to Minority community. Situation became tense. It is said that a few youths assembled at Moti Galli and Khilwath area but police dispersed them. Police assaulted the motor cyclists going towards Gulzar House. Police turned this area into a cantonment.
