Patna, August 05: It was a miraculous escape for former union minister and JDU leader Sharad Yadav when his helicopter made an emergency landing in a field near Patna bypass on Thursday morning.
According to the report, the chopper, carrying Sharad Yadav and four others, made emergency landing after the chopper developed some technical snag.
However, Sharad Yadav along with others have been reported safe.
Sharad Yadav was on his way to Madhepura from Patna to attend a public rally when the leader escaped unhurt.
An alert pilot avoided a major tragedy as he landed the chopper safely in a field.
Speaking to reporters on phone, Yadav said, “Everyone onboard the chopper is safe.”
Meanwhile, Sharad Yadav has left for Madhepura by road.
It is worth mentioning here that Bihar leaders are on whirlwind tour of state in the wake of forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.
