Azra Masood educational Charitable Trust runs under the supervision of a retried officer who is engaged in encouraging intelligent students. During a non formal meeting with the trust chairman he briefed the activities of the trust. Mir Shujat Ali Masood founded the trust after his retirement from government service in the name of his late wife. He aimed at encouraging poor, intelligent and deserving students and hardworking teachers.
Mr. Shujat Ali told that during his service as deputy secretary in various government departments he felt that there is earnest need to encourage Muslim students through educational aid hence he decided to found a trust in his wife’s name. Mr. Shujat Ali invested all his earning in the trust; he even spends the amount received as pension in this philanthropic deed.
He informed that all the affairs of Azra Masood Charitable Trust are carried out under the supervision of Mr. Zahed Ali Khan editor Siasat.
