Minority Welfare Minister Mr. Syed Mohammed Ahmedullah told that he has talked to finance minister and principal secretary finance with regard to issuance of Rs. 88 crore towards scholarship and fee reimbursement to minority students and it is likely that the amount will be released before March 31. Hence there will not be any inconvenience to minority students this year with respect to scholarship and fee reimbursement.
Minority Welfare minister claimed that although the finance department has frozen the treasury due to which budget release of minority welfare besides other department is stalled, but it is a simple procedure. Issuance of budget for scholarship and fee reimbursement can be made possible under emergency situations.
