Minority Residential Schools unlikely to begin from today

Commencement of 71 minority residential schools being set up for minorities may be delayed as the required infrastructure has not been supplied by the respective agencies. The government had decided to commence all 71 residential schools from June 14 but the appointment process of Principals is said to be incomplete. Besides several buildings are not yet ready to accommodate students and begin classes. Hence commencement of school may be delayed for another 10 days.

According to sources orientation programme for students and their parents will be held in all schools as per schedule and they will be sent away after lunch. Parents will be notified later regarding date of commencement of schools.
