Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to open 60 English medium residential schools for minority students in the state. These residential schools will start working from next academic year. Chief Minister conducted a high level meeting to review minority affairs and status of educational development among minorities. He also asked the officials to shift Chanchalguda Jail and Race Course in Malakpet for construction of residential schools for Minority girls and boys.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Director General Anti Corruption Bureau Abdul Qayyum Khan, Director Minority Welfare Jalaluddin Akber, Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation B Shafiullah, Secretary Director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor, Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah, Chief Minister’s secretary for Minority Affairs Bhopal Reddy and others were present on the occasion.
