State Minority Commission has decided to give suggestions to the government for rescuing poor from the clutches of ruthless financiers. Chairman Minority Commission Abid Rasool Khan welcomed government’s drive against illegal financers. He stressed that need to launch alternative schemes so that the poor need not have to obtain loans on heavy interest for small businesses. He observed that failing to obtain loans from the banks and unable to fulfill the conditions of government institutions for financial assistance, small businessmen fall into the trap of financers. He revealed that he had done a survey in this connection and submitted the report to the government.
