State government has released a part of the 4th quarter towards Minority Welfare budget for the year 2012-13. Finance department has released Rs. 8,20,83,000 towards various schemes of Minority Welfare.
Principal Secretary Finance Dr. D Sambasiva Rao issued GO RT 923 in this connection. Daeratul Maarif has been issued Rs. 31,25,000 towards grant in aid. Urdu academy has been issued Rs. 1,09,97000. Rs. 3125000 were issued towards mass marriages and Rs. 23,46000 have been issued to review social and economic status of minorities and their programmes.
