Minority Affairs Ministry aims at ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas’: Heptulla

New Delhi : Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptulla on Saturday said the whole focus of the ministry revolved around the vision and mission ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas’, adding that it made consistent efforts in the last two years to fulfill the agenda set in the manifesto for minorities and achieved them by formulating new schemes, programmes and reorienting the ongoing schemes.

Interacting with the media in the national capital on the last two years achievements, she said the ministry has taken many new initiatives to strengthen the efforts towards education of minorities and economic empowerment through Skill Development.

The minister also launched ‘Nai Udan’, WAMSI and MANAS web portal for GIS Mapping of Training centers.

A mega event showcasing achievements of two years of NDA government is being organised in New Delhi today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many of his ministerial colleagues are expected to attend an event at India Gate in New Delhi today evening as part of celebrations to mark the completion of two years of BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.

The Modi government completed two years in office on Thursday and it has launched a series of events to highlight the achievements of the government.

The highlight of the celebrations will be the mega show at India Gate – ‘Ek Nayi Subah’ or a new dawn.

A number of film-stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Anupam Kher, Anil Kapur and Prasun Joshi are expected to attend the event. (ANI)
