Minorities should unite to fight against fascist forces- Amer Ali Khan

It is essential for Minorities to get united to keep away the fascist forces from getting power. Siasat Urdu Daily has been making an attempt to bring together Daliths, Muslims and Christians for a long time. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and leader of YSRCP. He was addressing a protest meeting at Indira Park against atrocities on Christians Priests and Minorities. This program was organized by Christian Missionaries in which Dalith and Muslim Organizations also participated. In the meeting the speakers condemned the kidnap and assassination of Software employee Ms. Anuhia in Mumbai.

Continuing his address Mr. Amer Ali Khan told that the fascist forces have become a danger to the solidarity of the country. He targeted Hindutva forces and said that they are trying to weaken the unity of Daliths, Muslims and Christians. After the attacks on the Muslims, now they are attacking the Christians which is part of the larger conspiracy. He told that the unity of Daliths, Muslims and Christians can decide the political fate of this country and Hindutva forces are very well aware of it and therefore they are hatching conspiracies to weaken this unity and attacking the Christians and Minorities.

Mr. Amer Ali Khan also told that India is the best example of the combination of various religions, cultures and civilizations. Despite the disparity of religions and cultures, India is a peaceful country and it will not allow the fascist forces to be successful in their conspiracies. The fascist forces are afraid that with the unity of Daliths, Muslims and Christians, they cannot make Modi Prime Minister. He lamented on the silence of the Govt. on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha when the Muslims were targeted. Now they are targeting Christians in Nalgonda, Bhadrachalam and Vikharabad. Mr. Amer Ali told that atrocities on the Minorities can be stopped on by their unity.

Brother Bala Subramanyam demanded the Govt. to impose a ban on Hindu Vahini and criticized the silence of the Governments on the atrocities meted out to Minorities. He informed that a reward of Rs. 12 lakh is being offered for killing a priest and Rs. 6 lakh for destroying a church and the Governments are keeping quiet.

He told that the attack on the Christians is part of a larger conspiracy. In Telangana area Christian priest were killed one after the other. Govt. should prevent such incidents and punish the culprits. He warned that by forming the unity of Minorities, fascist forces will be taught a lesson.

Former DGP, Mr. Swaranjeet Sen condemned the attacks on Christ Priest and said that these could be dangerous for the solidarity of the country.

Minister of Education, Mr. Partasarathy told that Govt. is bound to protect Minorities and it is taking necessary steps for their security. Referring to the incident of the killing of Software employee, Ms. Anuhia, he said that Govt. feels sorry for this. CM of A.P. talked to the parents of the deceased employee and also spoke to the C.M. of Maharashtra requesting him to take necessary action to do justice. He said that the Govt. is with the family of Ms. Anuhiya and it is taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of Minorities. Various other leaders of Christian Minorities also addressed the gathering and demanded the Govt. to ensure prevention of such attacks on Daliths, Muslims and Christians.

Before the rally was taken out, a delegation met the CM of AP, Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy and demanded to issue instructions for CBI probe in respect of the killing of Christian priest. Christian leaders talk to media at Wesely Church in Secunderabad. A protest rally was taken out from Bible House to Indira Park in which school and college students, teachers, members of voluntary organizations and other organizations engaged in Dalith, Muslim and Christian unity and representatives of Muslim organization participated.
