The rates of state scholarship given to Minorities by the AP Minorities Finance Corporation have been enhanced. These rates will be applicable from the academic year 2012-13.
Hostel boarders will now get Rs. 9,620 instead of Rs. 5250. The boarders of students’ managed hostels will get Rs. 4,420 instead of Rs. 2,500. Day Scholars who study in colleges 5 km away from their residences will now get Rs. 4,290.
The rates of Scholarships in the case of PG and professional college students have also been enhanced. Such students will now get Rs. 6,820 instead of Rs. 4,420 instead of Rs. 3500. Day scholars will get Rs. 4,290.
