Hyderabad; On the instructions from Mr. A.K. Khan, IPS, DGP of ACB and Vice Chairman of Minorities Educational Schools’ Society, Mr. Shafiullah, Secretary of the Society held a review meeting of the State Officers of the District yesterday. A review of the infrastructural faculties was made. State Officers of the District, Prof. S.A. District Minorities Welfare Officers, Executive Directors of Minorities Finance Corporation and Officer associated with Minorities Residential Schools attended the meeting.

Reviewing the preparations for these schools in the districts, a decision was taken to start at least 25 schools in the first phase. Buildings were identified where furniture could be provided to start the functioning of the school immediately. The officers were advised to purchase the necessary furniture, beds and other items immediately. The date of inauguration of these schools would be decided later. The concerned ministers and MLAs would be invited for the inaugural function. After starting 25 schools, the program of starting other schools for second phase would be finalized.

It may be noted that Govt. of Telangana had decided to start 17 residential English medium schools for Minorities but in some of the buildings, construction works still remain to be completed due to non supply of infrastructural facilities.
