Minorities budget, test of Govt. – Rs. 1200 crore allocated but only 400 crore released

Hyderabad: KCR Govt. has to face the test in the Assembly when the question of Minorities budget is raised in the current session. It is reported that discussions on Minorities budget are likely to be held in the last two days of the current Assembly session. It may not be easing for the Govt. to reply to the members in the current session.

It may be mentioned that Govt. allocated Rs. 1200 crore for Minorities but only Rs. 400 crore was released. According to the information received, only Rs. 220 crore have been spent. Minorities institutions have not been released budget so far. There is no hope of getting any grants during the current financial year.
