Minor tension erupted in Old City here on Friday as namajis coming out of Makkah masjid after completion of prayers started shouting slogans in protest of Babri Masjid Demolition, clashed with police in lanes and bylanes.
Huge contingents of policemen, including that of Rapid Action Force, deployed there to meet any eventuality in the backdrop of 21st Anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition.
Two persons injured in the clash including a police constable.
