A five-year old girl was allegedly raped by a 14-year-old boy in Manikpur area in the district.
The boy lured the innocent girl to a secluded place and raped her yesterday, Manikpur police station in charge Mohd Hasim said today.
The girl was sent to the district hospital for medical examination and on confirmation of rape the accused has been arrested, he added.
