Nasik, September 26: A minor girl from Peint taluka in the district, was allegedly raped by a youth, police said.
The 13-year-old girl, studying in Imambari government ashram school in tribal-dominated taluka, was found in an unconscious state at the back of the school today, they added.
According to Mangla Gosavi, a social worker from Peint, the girl was absent from the school from the past three days, but was found in an unconscious state behind the school.
The girl was admitted to Nashik Civil Hospital, police said.
Police have detained the father of the young suspect, for interrogation, even though the youth is absconding. Police have a launched search for him.
