Minor rape case: Pramila Nesargi slams Kejriwal

Bengaluru, Dec. 13 : Following the gang-rape of a minor in the national capital, social activist Pramila Nesargi on Sunday condemned Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party Government for paying “more attention on its MLAs’ salary rather than on these crimes”.

“Kejriwal takes it very easy. It’s very unfortunate. It should not have happened. I am very unhappy about the incident which is happening day in and day out. They are worrying about their salary and tours going abroad,” Nesargi told ANI.

Further lashing out at the AAP Government, Nesargi said the people of Delhi got a government, which they deserve.

“This incident happened nearby where Nirbhaya’s incident had happened. The people think even after I commit rape, I will come out. The courts are there to relieve,” she added.

A seven-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped at a park in South Delhi’s Tigri area on Saturday evening.

The victim was rushed to AIIMS trauma centre, where her condition is stated to be serious.

A case was lodged at the Neb Sarai police station. Following the complaint, the Neb Sarai police arrested one of the accused, while rest of them are at large. (ANI)
